Simple Speaking

17 08 2010

Telling your surrounding

plants,
trees,
fairies,
animals,
furniture,
frying-pan-full-of-food,
huwans,
angels,
computer,
instrument,
toilet,
emotions,
book,
demons,
grass,
soil

that you love it, or appreciate it, or think it’s pretty, goes an infinitely long way.

I believe you’ll feel good, and the things you appreciate will feel good, and the things you appreciate will be kinder to you, and work better with you, smoother and easier.

As Rilke wrote:

If you trust in Nature, in the simplicity that is in her, in the small things that hardly anyone sees, which can so unexpectedly grow into something great and boundless; if you have this love for insignificant things and seek, simply as one who serves, to win the confidence of what seems poor: then everything will become easier for you, more coherent and somehow more reconciling, not in your conscious mind perhaps, which lags wondering behind, but in your innermost awareness, wakefulness and knowing.

I love you. Thanks for making this perpetual painting, this moving maze, this live-action role-playing game, this drama, this comedy, this nonsense, this audience-less opera, so complete.

Goodnight moon.
